I built Padel Point solo, and I get asked how it stacks up against Padel'EM a lot. Here's an honest, feature-by-feature comparison — including where Padel'EM genuinely does more than my app.
Padel Point covers more ground for most players: it's the only one of the two on Huawei Watch (an official Huawei partnership, featured on the Watch FIT 5 Series), it's completely free with no ads, and it adds free Americano/Mexicano tournaments, a strategy board and racket-lifetime tracking that Padel'EM doesn't have. Padel'EM's real edge is platform reach on Android — a native Android phone app, Wear OS watch support, and a live AI coach ("Marco") — three things Padel Point doesn't offer yet. If you're an Android or Wear OS player who wants AI coaching today, that's a genuine reason to pick Padel'EM.

Where each app actually differs
Smartwatch platform coverage
This is the clearest split between the two apps. Padel'EM reaches further on Android: it has a real Android phone app and works with Wear OS watches, which Padel Point doesn't support yet. Padel Point reaches further on one specific platform Padel'EM doesn't touch at all: Huawei Watch, through an official partnership I built directly with Huawei. If you play with a Huawei Watch, Padel Point is currently the only one of the two that works for you at all. If you're on a Wear OS Android watch, it's the other way around.
Tournaments and coaching
The two apps optimize for different things beyond the scoreboard. Padel'EM leans into AI-driven analysis: Marco reviews your stats and gives tactical and technique advice, and there's a social layer for comparing yourself with friends. Padel Point leans into organizing and playing: free Americano and Mexicano tournaments with live courts and a real-time leaderboard, a drawing-canvas strategy board for planning plays with a coach or partner, and racket-lifetime tracking so you know when your frame's lost its pop. I have AI coaching planned for Padel Point, but it isn't live yet — if that's the feature you want today, Padel'EM already has it.
Pricing model
Padel Point is free with no ads — nothing is metered or paywalled. Padel'EM's free tier includes ads, with a premium subscription to remove them and unlock the deeper stats and coaching features.

A native Android phone app for Padel Point is in active development. It isn't released yet, so if you need an Android phone app today, Padel'EM has one — but this is an area where the gap is closing rather than a permanent limitation.
