1Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the Padel Point app (“Application”) for mobile devices — including iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Huawei Watch — created by Frederique De Sousa (“Service Provider”), provided as a free service.

Padel Point is available on the Apple App Store and the Huawei AppGallery, running on iOS/watchOS and HarmonyOS. This policy covers all platforms.

2What we collect

When you create an account or use the Application, we may collect the following personal information:

• Full name — to personalise your profile and match history
• Email address — for account creation, login, and support
• Date of birth — to verify age eligibility and personalise experience
• Gender — optional, used for profile and statistics
• Country — to provide localised content and language defaults

We also collect technical usage data to improve performance:

• App pages and features visited, with time and date stamps
• Time spent in the Application
• Device type and operating system version
• Crash reports and performance diagnostics

The Application does not collect your precise GPS location, and does not collect or log your device’s IP address.

3Health & fitness data

With your explicit permission, the Application may read and write:

• Heart rate (BPM) — recorded during active matches
• Active energy burned (calories)
• Distance walked/run during a match
• Workout duration and timestamps
• Exercise record summary
• Workout service (real-time data reading and writing)

This health data is stored locally on your device within Apple Health or HUAWEI Health. Padel Point does not transmit your health data to our servers or share it with any third party.

You can revoke health data access at any time in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Health → Apps; HarmonyOS: HUAWEI Health settings).

4Third-party access

The Service Provider does not sell your personal data. We may share information only in these limited circumstances:

• As required by law (e.g. to comply with a court order or legal process)
• To protect the rights, safety, or property of users or the public
• With trusted service providers acting on our behalf, bound by this policy

The Application uses these third-party platforms, each with their own privacy policies:

• Apple App Store & HealthKit — Apple Privacy Policy
• Huawei AppGallery & HUAWEI Health — Huawei Privacy Policy

5Opt-out rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application at any time by uninstalling it through the standard process on your device or via the App Store / AppGallery.

You may withdraw health data permissions independently without uninstalling the app, via your device’s health settings.

6Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter. If you request deletion of your account and data, we will act within 30 days.

7GDPR & your rights (EU/EEA users)

You have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of data we hold about you
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure — request deletion of your personal data
• Portability — receive your data in a portable format
• Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data
• Objection — object to processing for certain purposes

Email support@padelpoint.app to exercise any of these rights. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Legal basis for processing: contract performance (providing the app), legitimate interests (security and improvement), and consent (health data and optional communications).

7bUAE Data Protection (PDPL)

Under the UAE PDPL, you have the following rights as a data subject:

• Right to be informed — to know what personal data we collect and how it is used
• Right of access — to request a copy of your personal data held by us
• Right to rectification — to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to erasure — to request deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary
• Right to object — to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances
• Right to data portability — to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format

The Service Provider, as a data controller, processes personal data only for the specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Data is not processed in a manner incompatible with those purposes.

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by UAE law. Cross-border transfers of personal data outside the UAE are carried out in compliance with the PDPL, ensuring an adequate level of protection is in place.

8Children

The Application is not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately. Parents or guardians should contact support@padelpoint.app.

9Security

We implement physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10Cookies & analytics

The Padel Point app does not use cookies. The website (padelpoint.app) may use essential cookies for basic functionality. We may use privacy-respecting analytics tools to understand usage patterns using anonymised, aggregated data only.

11Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance.

This policy is effective as of 1 May 2025. Last reviewed: June 2026.

12Your consent

By downloading and using Padel Point, you consent to data collection and use as described in this Privacy Policy. For health data, you provide explicit consent through your device’s system permissions dialog.

3健康与运动数据

您可以随时在设备设置中撤销健康数据访问权限（iOS：设置 → 健康 → App；HarmonyOS：华为运动健康设置）。

4第三方访问

服务提供者不会出售您的个人数据。我们仅在以下有限情形下共享信息：

• 依据法律要求（例如遵守法院命令或法律程序）
• 为保护用户或公众的权利、安全或财产
• 与代表我们行事、受本政策约束的可信服务提供商共享

本应用使用以下第三方平台，各自拥有独立的隐私政策：

5退出权利

您可以随时通过设备上的标准流程，或通过 App Store / 华为应用市场卸载本应用，从而停止本应用收集任何信息。

您可以在不卸载应用的情况下，通过设备的健康设置单独撤销健康数据权限。

6数据保留

只要您的账户处于活跃状态，我们将保留您的个人数据，此后还会在合理期限内继续保留。如果您要求删除账户及数据，我们将在 30 天内处理。

8未成年人

根据中国《网络安全法》及 PIPL 的相关规定，本应用不面向 14 周岁以下的中国大陆未成年人；在其他地区，本应用不面向 13 周岁以下的用户。我们不会在知情的情况下收集未成年人的个人信息。若我们发现未成年人在未经监护人同意的情况下提供了个人信息，我们将立即删除相关信息。父母或监护人如有疑问，请联系 support@padelpoint.app。

9安全

我们采取物理、电子和程序上的保障措施来保护您的信息。但是，没有任何传输或存储方式是 100% 安全的。尽管我们努力保护您的数据，但无法保证绝对的安全性。
